  • Yes because if the nanny was drinking she would just throw it out in plain view. Basic logic would tell you it wasn't her On the bright side , the last lady may have been a terrible role model but at least she didn't shame the guy for buying dolls.

  • she is her daughter she can punish her but still she fuckiing loves her so it's just a strugl of feelings now she is on a situation on which she has to decide which of here daughters she Will Be disapointing dont go hard on a mothers heart humanly she must call the nany make the daughter apologise and give her the position back but honestly it's a lot going on there and ppl who have kids will get my point so none is bad or good it's just a sucky situation

  • The OP who fired the nanny really sucks. She’s basically teaching her daughter that there are no consequences for lying and underage drinking. She effectively cost someone their livelihood and doesn’t care

  • On the last story. We have a kid(i dont accualy know how old he is) who sometimes comes in to the store i work at with one of the part times who works with kids with special needs. Hes a great kid. Occasionally he will make a low but loud keening noise. And depending on if he is upset or not he will flap his arms a bit and change the tone of his keens. It was a bit weird at first but seeing the giant smile on his face when he flaps and keens is worth it, he is literally one of my favorites.

  • Naw bump that daughter. She made the nanny lose her job. The daughter needs to understand that with actions come consequences and to then proceed to LIE about their wrongdoings and blame it on an innocent person is wrong and she needs to learn that. So what if that girl is embarrassed? She wouldn't be embarrassed if she had not broken any rules and lied about it, it's her fault.

  • The mother in the first story is an evil grunt. I hope karma bites her in the ass hard. Who trusts a teenager when it comes to alcohol. I used to drink in high school (not much). I see the mothers point but that teenager is a liar needs to be punished and be forced to face her victim. If the mother lets her daughter get away with this the daughter will do something worse because she thinks she can

People literally told me it was okay and I wasn’t the ahole because they said my grandma was down right abusive. • In my opinion hiding kids from your new BF/GF is prob a big way to end your relationship because, 1: you kept that lie so easily so they will began to suspect your cheating 2: i think most people would only have kids after marriage and that would be kids before marriage 3: you put them in a corner of either break up and potentially putting the kids in a life without a father/mother or stay in the relationship and always think about my first reason

  • The second story gets me so upset not only did the daughter underage drink and lie to your face she actually got someone fired that is so selfish what if that nanny didn't have any other job and she felt no guilt AT ALL CUZ IF SHE DID SHE WOULD WANT TO SAY SORRY SHE LIED TO YOUR VERY FACE LOOKED YOU IN THE EYE AND DIRECTLY TOLD YOU THE NANNY DID IT SHE DESERVES TO BE PUBLICLY HUMILIATED IN FRONT OF THAT NANNY and you let her be a selfish liar and not higher the nanny don't come crying to people when you realize your daughter has no compassion for others it is so entitled that she blames people for things they clearly didn't do and ruin their lives

  • 1st story - should have spoken to the mom first before revealing the secret. 2nd story - Teenagers will lie and mistakes will be made, these are facts of life. What really matters is how you resolve mistakes, and this family gets a FAIL from me. The mother should have apologized to the sitter, offer to rehire, the sitter may accept or not, but either way definitely give a couple of hundred dollars bonus tip. 3rd story - someone get that woman a 'chill pill', seriously! If having a kid puts women off, then those were the wrong women, OBVIOUSLY.

    A RobA Rob10 päivää sitten
  • 1st Story: NTA. Honestly could’ve just been a funny story for the next generation but OP’s mom is being unreasonable. The parties involved were okay with the outcome and it shouldn’t be any of her business. Besides she’s a lying asshole who thought it would be okay to cheat on her husband. 2nd Story: AH. OP is not setting a good example for her daughter and is upsetting the other parties. Her daughter lied about underage drinking and the cost was someone’s job. If I were her, I’d apologize and have the daughter apologize, offer the nanny her job back and give her a raise. And then punish the daughter for UNDERAGE DRINKING AND LYING 3rd Story: NTA. Kate needs to be dropped, no one should treat a child like that, especially when it’s not there’s and they’ve done nothing but exist. 4th Story: NTA. The lady wasn’t minding her own business and they have a right to be in whatever aisle they want. She deserved that. Hope OP and his brother are doing well and his brother is enjoying his barbies.

  • So let me tell you what would happen if my 17year old self lied about alcohol and got my nanny fired. 1st my mother would yank my 17 year old butt over her knee and tan my freakin hide without hesitation. Then she would call the Nanny back to our house for an face to face appology. I would be told to grab my pocket money and rehire the Nanny myself, using my money to pay her for that day with a generous tip included. I'd then be grounded and made to help the Nanny in whatever way her or mom asked. And you know what? *I would deserve it!* I'm not saying OP should handle the discipline of her daughter the same way my mother would me, but I am saying that 17 year old needs to be taught a lesson in honesty and respect. (Also I just wanted to add a weird cultural thing. In many provinces that follow a classed society it is considered inappropriate for lower class to address upper class as equal. In other words a lower class individual cannot disrespect a higher classed individual by talking back to them, or looking them in the eyes. During confrontation you are to look down and not meet their eyes. I have a friend who immigrated from a country that practiced that, and it took her a while to get comfortable with looking at someones face while talking lol I kinda wonder if the Nanny in question had a similar reaction, but I have no idea where this story happend lol) Edit: Those brothers are awesome! Good on the older brother for not only treating his brother well, and for taking care of him. He also shows no shame about their situation, and most importantly about his brother. That lady was a cranky witch disguised as a human Karen.

It's quite amazing how they're able to ignore their own wrongdoings like it's fine or it didn't happen, but still dare to judge or accuse others for doing the same. And boy, they love to accuse others. You could probably catch a rich Karen throwing garbage within a foot of a trashcan, while yelling at someone else who accidentally dropped a single gum wrapper.

  • Telling someone you have kids sounds like a pre-date thing to me, like in your dating profile or whatever because some people don't want kids. What happens if a person who doesn't want kids finds out well after getting attached to this person only to find out they have a kid? They now have to choose between continuing a relationship that has this kid they don't want or breaking things off, hurting themselves and the other person. It's plain and simple, if you have kids, bring it up ASAP in case it's a deal breaker

She will never have any meaningful relationships because of her entitlement and lying, which is evident by her sister already feeling estranged from her. The mom for being a cheater and for being terrible to OP, the sister for not caring how this impacts OP, and the bio-dad for going after bio-mom's kids. Legal or not, it's still unethical. And the mom saying "not your secret to share", uh, no? Bio-Dad's DNA is literally floating in all of OP's cells. That makes it OP's secret to share if they want to.

  • The girl with the beer can is not just a spoiled brat for being able to get away with this, but she's also a terrible liar. Instead of saying something like "I found the can on the front lawn and figured i'd throw it away" or even just hiding the empty can until she could properly get rid of it she decided to blame someone else. I'm not sure why the girl wouldn't meet the parent's gaze, maybe she saw the girl drinking but realized that if she told then the daughter might end up blaming her instead, or maybe something else happened that she doesn't want to share with the mom, or maybe the girl's autistic and doesn't like meeting the gaze when she is being confronted with things. whatever it is she's done nothing wrong, how would this lady like for her boss to randomly come up and go "did you break such and such rule?" and she says "no, i didn't, i swear" and the boss still fires her even though it later turns out to be someone else?

OP's mom is disgusting not only for that but letting her daughter date a man that is blood related to her sister. Who does that?! 2nd story: OP is the butthole. She is the kind of person that we all fricking hate, people with too much money! So she has enough money to hire a nanny and a wine cellar? Then defends her kid who lied about the beer and got the innocent nanny fired? And then you let your pride get in the way as to not do right by her and your family by not rehiring her and letting your daughter have to confront her and apologize for ruining the nanny's life? For some reason, this story makes me more mad than the first one. I dunno if I can watch the rest of this video TBH!
