r/Entitledparents Insane Mom Tries To Poison A Bride At Her Wedding!
r/Entitledparents In today's episode, OP is attending the wedding of a woman who has an absolutely nutso mother. The mom constantly wants to make the wedding about her instead of the bride, and goes behind the bride's back to change flowers, seating arrangements, etc. Things eventually go too far when the mother adds coconut icing to the wedding cake when the bride is extremely allergic to coconut! Luckily, OP and his friends were able to foil the mom and make her miss the wedding entirely.

Yo George is insane wtf
I really like that the wedding story - apart from the momzilla - is actually quite wholesome. A whole extended family comes together sacrificing their own rest to give the best wedding they can provide for their beloved relative. Aunt Rose is a baws.
Glad that the woman in the wedding-story got the wedding she deserved: the one she wanted! I am so sick of people trying to tell their daughters/sons how they should live their lives and how they should marry and have kids... And trying to invite the stepfather as a surprise, even though that man was the reason someone ran away? that is the WORST thing and a good reason to burn every bridge with that "mother" ...
I know I'm late but I got back from school and my back legs hurt
Alices new family are the best
how the brothers are called fred and george tho... XD
In the post by u/brigadoonrosefall her brothers are Fred George and Ron and she is.........Ginny
this was at my dads work, this was about in 2011, soooo my dad works at a spa\ nail salon, me and my brother soaked out feet in the water (one of the treatments) for just the thrill, we were closed at that time and we were just visiting for maitenence, we had a snack with us, EM: *walking in* hello are you open?, MD: no you can come here later, EM: then why are you giving these CHILDREN free service? and a snack?, you should give MY children the same thing, MD: these are my-, EM: *cutting him off* SHUT UP!!!! I WANT THE MANAGER!!!!, this was a family kind of thing, the eployees are all relatives and we are all the boss of or own store, MD: we dont have a manager, OP: thats my DAD you are yelling at, EM: theres no way that this man is your father, EK: give me snacks!!!!, MD: sorry you arent my child, MB: buzz off!!!, EM: this man is definetly theatening you to say that you are his child!! dont worry i will call the police, OP: NO, eventually the whole family got together and told the EM and her brat child to leave, we told the police it was a false alarm and they drove off.
4:58 The dude ASKED you to marry him. He didn't say "Marry me, bitch." Your consent was yes or no when he asked. The "pressure" thing is just a byproduct of proposal. Why would he tell you he was going to propose instead of just proposing? That's dumb. You could have just said no, but you decided to "rip him a new one." But yeah, you're a good person here.
Okay the mum in the wedding story is disgusting but! BUT! The family! They have my heart! Imagine all that work without any intention to reveal it. The worked during the night to make sure nothing was wrong. The protected her in the best way and gave her the wedding she deserved. So much effort. Like this isn’t just little thing. Picking berries at night! Remaking ruined food! And having to spend hours with that awful mother to get as much info as possible to prevent any disaster! All without any intention for a thank you! That is the family you want and the one she deserved! GOD THEY SOUND AMAZING!
Isn't the point of a proposal that it's opposed to be a surprise? Am I the only one who is confused
I never planned on having children, but I did and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. Getting married was by far the worst thing that ever happened to me as men do not benefit from being married at all whatsoever.
The entitled parents are getting crazier
Omg that wedding story, the in laws are amazing fixing everything making it just the way the couple wanted. Disposing of the mother. 10/10 amazing. Its those they that will make alice feel loved and safe. I'm glad she found herself a new and better family
The story of Alice's Wedding so so damn heart warming
THANKS FOR THE ADS, PRICK
Ive had very bad periods like that. In fetal position. Pale. Cold sweats. Feeling like puking. The pain shoots into my thighs. Ive been to the hospital a few times. Sitting in the shower with hot water was the only thing that helped. Sucked cause the hot water ran out in 40 ish mins. And the oain usually lasted 2-3 hours.
rSlash: " your kids are your kids, not your property" me: try telling that to my family
Last story: What a great family, can they adopt me?? Edit: my parents are great just fyi.
Grow up and want something meaningful?? Way to punch people who want and can't have kids in the throat.
I mean asking a dad for his daughters hand is actually very sweet and something my husband did, difference is we talked about our futures together beforewe started dating because we didn't want to fall in love and have it not workout and were together 2yrs the day he asked me, we had been talking about marriage for months beforehand.
"13:19" Nice
6:36 My brain:HARRY POTTER
Wow what a great family Alice married into! I'd have doe the same for the bride but I might have been petty enough to sabotage the mom zilla a bit more somehow.
They went full spec-ops on that wedding
Grandma voice 👌🏽
6:31 is this harry potter lol ima big fan and all i was able to think about was harry potter lmaoo
Hero of the story is george
They were probably like in your mind over the coconut thing s@@t s@@t s@@t s@@t
Omg the family tho I think their parents liked harry potter
Damn
For story one It might be that Step Mom thought writer slept with her dad.
Grandmothers are so nice
hol up fred and george- my harry potter side really do be fangirling
Really related to the 2nd story. Never wanted kids since I was young & it was pretty hard to find someone who was like minded. Consistently having to answer the “When are you having kids?” question is so annoying. Thankfully we are both sterile as of last year so we just say “We aren’t because We can’t.” & people just shut up now
I’m listening to this with my mom and she LOVES these so thank you 😊
Okay but FRED AND GEORGE?? RON??? What in the Harry Potter
I can only imagine how amazing it must be to have the family in the wedding story, like seriously, they just all agreed to quietly fix what that witch Helen ducked up. My god those absolute saints
Lol Fred and George I hope they were twins
Thank god my parents respect my wishes. I don’t want natural born children I rather adopt. I’m scared of child birth and of course I have several medical issues. But if it I do get pregnant I will keep my child and I do have names picked.
Lmfao at demisexual. Does everything need a fucking label? Like half the planet doesn't do random hookups and needs some kind of connection. Good lord
God that step mom infuriates me
I love this video! Your voice is so sweet. It helps me study!
First story. Demisexual um ok. Wtf? Second story. Op does not seem to be very happy. Not that marriage and kids are the be all end all of happiness; because they are not. But Op seems very unhappy to me. Third story Mother is an asshole. Just like my ex mil.
Have you ever been so mad you try to kill your own child? Yeah, me neither. Wtf
The OP story frustrated me so much. I’m a guy, and even I think the women should have a CHOICE about wether or not they want to have kids. Just because you have the ability to create children doesn’t make it a responsibility. People who pressure women to have kids make me sick.
im the first one sub to you
"grow up and want something meaningful"... well, he got one thing right, their actual relationship didn't mean jack squat
That's so sweet aaaa
George is the MVP of this story
That lesson, I think the right advice for OP's parents in the second story is "Your kids are their own people, not your own property", they'd get the wrong idea about what "Their kids" mean, they sometimes mean that 'their kids' are kids that they want control over and want them to go through what they went through, even controlling their life styles, even if they don't want to go through it like they did, they have to do it for them because they choosing not to have kids and get married, they're being selfish. Seemed like OP's siblings ended up being brainwashed by the parents, but OP managed to escape from it.
About the birth control: I bet that the stepmom is a really really old-school Catholic.
That sounds like something straight out of a movie props to the family for saving the wedding like that I wish the bride nothing but happiness
It is a tradition to ask the father before you ask your girlfriend about getting married, BUT you should definitely have conversations about it with her first to see how she feels about it.
That family with the wedding was the best. It is early in the morning and they all stayed to fix everything. Amazing in-laws👏👏👏
Jason's right uses not nose College twat grow the f******
These stories make me more grateful of my parents.
NEVER PROPOSE WITHOUT TALKING ABOUT IT OMFG. What an absolute effing creep and horrible family what the hell!! Alice's true family is the friggin bomb I adore them! Helen is extremely abusive and needs to be far far away from anyone jeez
rSlash's old grandma voice gets me everytime.
Someone needs a movie about that wedding story.
The family that Alice married into?!?! OMG this is what a family, In Laws included should be like! Alice married her Prince Charming and joined a family of Angels...
the last story felt like final destination
Honestly hearing all the stories, what if I get a horrible mother in law
I low-key want Alice to plan my wedding Is it just me???
That family that fixed the wedding are the best people ever
Ok so the wedding story got me thinking op's parents must like Harry potter there's Fred, George and Ron
Oh my gosh, the last wedding story. I didn’t know other families were like mine. We’ve put together entire birthday bashes in less then 2 days with the resources of the Dollar Store, Safeway, Walmart, one or two Peter’s Bakery cakes(🤤), and chairs and tables we had on hand. Best birthdays ever 🥺
Entitled grandma is insanely hood
Those are actual madlads to have to go at night and fix the shit Helen had done.
That wedding story sounds like something out of a movie! Everyone immediately knew what had to be done and they made sure that the bride and groom managed to have the wedding of their dreams despite all of the attempts of the mother to ruin it for them. I wonder what it feels like to live with such a capable and supportive family. They deserve a lot of praise! 🙌❤️
That wedding story totally reminds me of my parents wedding! Just a little crazier-
I want a movie about the wedding story
Oh, boy that last story, that family is amazing, and really loves Alice and Ron. Also, was I the only one imaging, the Weasley family (from Harry Potter) through the whole story? The names just reminded me of that.
I like how the name of the brothers are called Fred and George
That family in the wedding story, they are the most perfect family ever.
Wedding story, That family who replaced everything so the best family ever.
Who else loves his voice dang dude sounds like a budget narrator ( that’s a compliment according to me) it’s so ✨ Nice ✨
That last story MAN, every person alive need a family like them!
George, Fred and Ron final names weasley
Daughter: _Has coconut allergy_ Entitled psychotic mother: *"Is that disrespect I hear?"*
The true MVP here was George. *_The Trickster_*
Alice is marrying into a great family with people who will actually love her. I applaud the family in keeping that wedding happy and successful! I hope they have a long and happy marriage.
6:19 you have Ron Fred and George, now you just need Percy, bill, Charlie, and Ginny
Demisexual aka a normal person lmao people want to feel so special
Fred and George are acting like Fred and George lul
i love how the wedding one has clear harry potter refrence
I like OP from the second story - she reminds me of me. I hope she always remembers that she is NOT the problem in this situation. Her family is. Her preferences for her own life and future are not something broken to be fixed, or something to apologize for. And anyone who can’t accept that can fuck right OFF. Seriously. If her life offends them so much, they can happily just go away and never be bothered with it and leave OP to the happiness in life she found on HER terms.
The OP in the second story was kind of messed up. the bf asked for the dads permission which is standard and done most of the time, and she just flipped out on him because he didn’t talk to her first. The rest of the story seems like the OP was in the right but that one part kind of set me off.
If only birth control was contagious
0:35 op's dogs are the best good boys
That second one just makes me sad. I feel like there’s way more to the story than she’s letting on. Nobody cuts off their entire family like that unless there’s deeper issues. Doesn’t mean she shoulda been with that guy, but yeesh that was harsh.
Can we talk a about how that person had siblings named Ron, Fred, and George? Awesome, I hope that family (minus EM) has a great life
I worked at a nursing home in a small city. One time we had an entitled parent who would come to the facility almost every day. Her son must have been a druggie or something because even when he would get all the pain meds he could have, perscribed and over the counter, he would keep hitting the call light button and yelling for help while it was on and beeping (you can hear the high-pitched beeps all over the building). Keep in mind we still had other residents to look after as well as him. If we didn't answer him in time or give him pain meds every time he asked, he would call his mother on his cell phone. She would later show up to accuse us of neglecting him or keeping his meds from him. He was moved out of the facility and taken to to another one closer to town where, last I heard, both of them are still doing the same damn thing.
It always weirds me out that the groom has almost no say in wedding planning and that is a choice on their part, like put a little effort into something that is as much yours as it is you wife's. Grooms should stop making a choice not to be involved with wedding planning.
Demi sexual kind of sounds like a normal relationship
First OP needs to deal with her severe iron and magnesium deficiency. You'd be amazed at how many of your aches and pain are the result of your body not having enough magnesium.
George Costanza accidentally poisoned his bride by asking her to lick their wedding invitation envelopes. 🤪
I feel like all entitled parents see their child's wedding as a way to redo their own.
That lady who dint want kids was actually her x was right
Aside from the grow up comment, I don’t think he did anything technically wrong. He fell in love and wanted to be with them. And he was being very traditional by asking their parents if it was okay, usually proposals are surprises. They could of just said no and move without making it that much of a big deal as if they literally had no choice,
