r/Prorevenge In today's story, OP inherits $300,000 from her grandparents with the directive that she splits it with her full siblings. The will wasn't written very clearly, which means that OP was under no obligation to give any money to her half-siblings. When her half-brothers start harassing her and become incredibly greedy, OP just laughs at them and keeps all the remaining inheritance for herself.

There is something very fishy about that first post. I don't know what.
I'm so glad the title story is the first story
Joe and Mack? Kind of like that old Super NES game?
Was that first story updated? I'm pretty certain I heard it before, but on AITAH; and it didn't include that part about finding another half sibling. It just ended with OP asking if they're the AH if they go back on their deal and not include any interest charges for the money taken from their half brother. And I think it concluded with OP being the AH for taking out money that didn't belong to them, since they had already promised/given it to their brothers. Interesting how it turned out...
In the last story.. Can they be made for each other? But also one made by the other?? ..with help of course 🤗
Ex: * insert death threat here * Op: hmpf how rude 😠
So freaking awesome. Rslash you are one of my favorite voices.
Hey if they are his brothers: 1. Why should he have to give them crap 2. He is working (I assume) for them to get 200K for FREE and they are trying to CHARGE HIM INTEREST? Just because he had to do stuff with the money and would be returning back in full? That is what we call Entitled Children. (No offense, just seriously? Why tf can they just decide randomly interest at the end when they agreed at the start WITHOUT interest and charge for all of those years, they shouldn't get any for pulling this BS ) Also, it doesn't sound even close to an Inheritance, if it was that they would get it when he DIES.
Last story is just pathetic.
I just realized that Persephone was the most entitled kid in the world before Hades kidnapped her. Demeter may be mad, but Persephone turned out better because of that.
were mac and joe cave men by chance??
Watching this while sitting in rain
Yea just read it and it follows the same, this is just an update somewhat to it, the money is OP's and she doesn't have to give it to the brothers at all.
Umm wasn't the first one on aita? I'm almost certain it was and for some reason everyone was calling OP the butthole, despite it really being her money.
Holy crap, that first story was posted on aita weeks ago. This was before the contract/email/OP blocking them. Everyone was telling OP "no you gotta share with your brothers it's the right thing to do". Turns out the brothers (and the father!) were massive shitheads. Good on OP for telling them to freak right off.
After hearing about the $150,000 incident ...i realized that posting everything on social media is actually quite helpful....i mean.. if op had just posted in social media that "My half brothers are trying to sue me due to me borrowing some money from MY inheritance (which i was going to return)that I was generous enough to share with them... how greedy can a person get?"....so many ppl would've been on your side....
She probably shouldve told them she was taking money out, just as a formality, but everything else is on them. If you sue family or friends for "emotional damages" and you dont have a legitimate reason, youre a bad person.
If you have legitimate reason to sue a family member for emotional damages, and you manage to go to court and meet them again, you have my deepest respect. I wouldn't even be able to speak out aloud what these fuckers did to me because I'm so ashamed of myself, let alone see their disgusting shit-faces again.
Demand more than you're entidled to, and you get nothing
I love being able to listen to his voice and all of the crazy stories through the day. If I've missed a few uploads, then I'll catch up, or I'll go rematch my favorites! They never get old-
Since when do houses cost $130,000?
Well OP lost the two entitled brothers and gained two nice new siblings. Equivalent exchange at it's finest.
4:50 man talk about a "horns nest"
"Her returning is payment enough..." It blows me away how highly some of these morons think of themselves.
I love when people break up and then get mad when their ex finds someone knew.
Second story is just.... Strange... How did he let her back in the house after he broke up the 1st time?
As far as the first story goes it's amazing how money changes some people. It kind of makes them greedy bastards.
Are you OK? You don't sound well.
More ProRevenge please! :-)
STORY 1: OP stole from them, she posted in R/AITA, because of what she did, they lost out on a big interest amount that she refuses to pay back to them. www.reddit.com/r/AmItheAsshole/comments/kuf11e/aita_for_not_paying_my_brother_interest_on_money/?context=3
It's been years since I've been notified of one of your videos
where in the fuck are you buying a house for 130k?! unless its a holiday house in butt fuck no where, the min ive ever seen is 500k, and thats for some shitty shed
Me: -waiting for nuclear revenge like the good old days-
I can't say I agree with the boyfriend to screw his ex over 600$ she owed in rent. That sounds absolutely insane and petty. Just break up and block her or get a restraining order. Don't see how this revenge is satisfying.
If those brothers continue harassing OP, they should sue their brothers for the 50k plus emotional distress (WELL DESERVED FOR MAKING THE FAMILY TURN ON OP)
Omg why the fuck would you split it with them like that, that's your money, not theirs, do you seriously think that's what they wanted to be done with the inheretence they gave you, NEVER DO THIS EVER I have the closest relationship possible with my sister, and we both agree that only a greedy piece of shit would ever accept it, they aren't your siblings, theyre your manipulator, if they need money you can help them, but that doesn't mean splitting YOUR inheratance down the middle, and honestly I can guarente you that they would be at best very disappointed at you for doing that with The inheratance, that's why it was in a trust in the first place, because they didn't want you giving it away like that,, I know if that was an inheratance I gave my relative I would be insulted at the inheratanve being ta$$p
Guys I have a question, is there an rslash uno reverse?
can we all agree that OP in the tired story was a dumb ass for letting her move back in and expecting her to pay him back?
I remember watching your videos all the time and the at some point I just stoped but I want to watch more I was here before your face reveal the videos were so good and I loved watching u
My head hurts from all the crazy, stuck up, rude, and entitled people in all these stories but I'm so glad that there are people out there who don't like being treated like doormats, props!
Can you read my story im on aita and mine,s called I won't let my brother play my prized possession
I like these videos, but it bothers me when r/slash changes the phrasing of the original post. Sometimes the way its written originally makes more sense or has more meaning than what he changes it to
I disagree with you on the first story. The OP stole from them and hoped they wouldn't notice. The brothers do deserve that interest, but they could have gone about it better. The story deserves an ESH.
I remember this thumbnail pick from 6 months ago 🤔 lol
Fantastic video
Dont ever let anyone threaten you by saying they will move out or breakup with you. As soon as they say that, evict them or break up with them. If it works for them they will continue to use it.
LOL they're half siblings they don't deserve shit.
I love your videos but I HATE your thumbnails, please make them better
1st story is a repeat
Mandatory poggers in chat please scroll pass
Me at 5 in the morning. *rSlash sounds good*
Wtf is council tax
Wait a minute... You used that person before for a thumbnail...
Ive watched so much Rslash that I reconize that stock image in the thumbnail
This first story was in AITA, and OP was ABSOLUTELY judged the AH, and I agree. $300k split three ways. OP borrowed $30k over their $100k, and while they intended to pay it back, they didn’t intend to pay all of it back. If OP had only taken $100k, then there’d be $200k accruing interest. However, OP took $130k, leaving only $170k to accrue interest: AKA they make a good chunk less on interest over the years. In the AITA, OP explains that while they borrowed $30k, they only intended to pay back like $8k or $12k or something and let the interest still being accrued cover the rest of the money they took. The siblings were obviously pissed because OP literally took money from them. They told OP he needs to pay back the full $30k that he took, instead of using the interest accruing on their remaining funds. If you borrow $30k, you pay back $30k. It’s not like OP was struggling to pay it back and figured, well there’s interest. OP planned to borrow $30k and not pay it all back. Just because you didn’t have to give them money because of a technicality, doesn’t mean it’s cool to literally take money from them. Sorry, but this isn’t pro revenge, it’s you’re an asshole.
To that last one with the crazy responsibility dodging ex, you sure you didn't date my ex? 😂 If so, my belated apologies then.
Listening to the first story, I thought I had clicked the wrong video. From the way it started, I thought I was hearing an AITA post I've heard on Mark Narrations. I'm wondering if it's the same person posting on Prorevenge to add details that were left out.
I usually listen to these videos without watching the screen, so to try to read and realize he paraphrases most of the words is trippy
Op’s girlfriend: threatens to kill OP when she was drunk OP: “um...rude?”
shouldn't it be "brothers' "?
Why does it feel like rSlash has read this reddit post already? Or am I just insane?
10:00 OP please egnolage that I mean no offense when I say "you're an imbecile" the only reason she came back was because she had no where else to go, and is gaslighting you, and threatening to leave to control your emotions
If you know how to, poisoning someone is an option, and again, if you know how to, it can be untraceable.
I'm sorry but the guy in the last story was pretty stupid for letting his ex come back
I love the "I broke up with you, but you can't date anyone else because I'm still your girlfriend, even though we broke up" attitude. Sounds like those people who wanted refunds on Cyberpunk, but also wanted to keep the game. In case anyone following rSlash actually needs to be told this: when you give something up, it's gone. You don't have it anymore. That's what giving it up means. Your control over it goes away.
There was an AITA post about first story. And conclusion : OP was TA
RE 1st story: this story was originally posted in /AITA (written completely differently albeit) and OP was almost unanimously voted TA. OP was such a douchebag in that original post, especially in the comments and updates. The account had a balance of 193k not because he’d already paid back 23k like this new post suggests, but because of the interests the account had accrued over the years. He took the money behind his brothers’ back and tried to snake out of paying them back the 30k he “borrowed”. Cute of them to try to flip the script for a new audience lol
The moment op said "she threatened to kill me and I consider that pretty rude" I immediately knew he's British.
Hey r slash is your icon the team rocket logo with a slash in it
*Girlfriend threatens to kill* 'I found it rude because I had stayed up for her' So, murder threats aren't normally rude?
The girlfriend story... that is classic domestic violence including financial abuse, emotional abuse, verbal abuse, verbal threats, blackmail, psychological abuse, attempts to socially isolate, attempting to destroy reputation and attempts to get him charged by police...
I don’t get all this inheritance greed. Someone took my inheritance from my Great Aunt and I just let it go.
Rslash ran out of thumbnails
Honestly the whole "She threatened to murder me" "Wow, rude" Is relatable. That's so British.
Happens every other month lol
Yup
I think he reposted his own video I’ve watched this one before
the grandparents already knew the half brother was spoil that why they gave all to him and make him choice fairly and once he found out he knew the half brother was spoil and glad he got along with the other sibling and the gf was try using the bf to pay her rent mean she was only date him for money and was lazy and she try not to pay him and got mad he move on and got a gf even those she move on and I love the revenge spoil brat she was just like her mother
The guy in the last story is a simp. No spine.
He’s running out of stock photos
Idk if anyone here has seen the show Leverage but the threatening-murder-is-rude thing reminded me of Parker. E: “He tried to kill us!” P: “More importantly, he didn’t *pay* us!” E: “How is that more important!?” P: “Because I take that personally.”
On that first story, OP (if in the US) could've been subject to gift tax since the money was theirs and not their brothers'. Giving $50k to their brother could've been a $35k taxable event (provided all $50k was gifted in 1 year). The brother wouldn't owe tax on that exchange; OP would. This could be offset by a lifetime exclusion, but that would cause more of their estate potentially becoming taxable. Just a fun fact.
I love the post where op describes threatening to be murdered as just "especially rude" , haha , more than rude.
From story 3: Get OP once shame on you. Get OP twice shame on OP. You never should have agreed to have her return. Count it as a loss or an expensive lesson learned. Being a former gang leader she might never have been found. I would have made sure to dot my "I's" and crossed my "T's" as I have done prior.
Story one was on r/AmItheAsshole and hearing this new update makes me realize even more that OP was NTA
In that first story: No, I agree with the boys. You don't just borrow money out of a fund meant for somebody else, even if you intend to pay it back. You don't know if circumstances will come up that will prevent you from paying it back. Just because the money is there doesn't mean it's yours. Edit: And wow, legal dickery with the will to defend themselves AFTER they stole from somebody else's inheritence? Yeah no, that OP is the butthole, 5 out of 5 buttholes.
When you are the executor of an estate you have a responsibility to everyone else, and if you abuse that (say, in this case to steal 150k), that is legitimate grounds for them to sue and or have the will nullified, in which case it would be split among all the relevant parties evenly.
I was at family court waiting for my hearing and the judge was talking to a family of brothers and a sister...I think they all each received a inheritance if $40,000 each but the older sister had a terminal condition for the past 20years n she needed money for her surgery and for her therapy treatment so she $70K for the surgery and she took all 3 brothers to court so she can get $10,000 from each of them to help pay for her surgery...the brothers told the judge that the sister can still live without the surgery since she lived 20years with her condition without needing surgery....the sister ended up winning and judge made all 3 brothers give her $10,000 each from their inheritance
So wait, she broke up with you and gave you a clear ticket out of the toxicity, AND YOU GO BACK? Seriously...what did you expect?
It’s fighting the hand that feeds you:not:biting the hand that feeds you
I just got this notification SIX HOURS LATE
The first story has been edited because the OP was the asshole. She stole her siblings money that they actually were entitled to and refused to pay back what she'd spent. She's edited her own story to make her seem like the good guy.
I just reread it and the comments about it not being a trust, but an account in OP's name and other stuff here is the same, OP's not the AH by law all even what she gave was her's too
If I remember right the first part was still the same, so by law it was still OP's money, I could be wrong, I'm looking for it now to read again.
Check out Mark narrations if you’re waiting for r\ to post.
The awake target optically smile because door uncommonly trade to a ceaseless order. heartbreaking, windy moustache
Some one needs to send Rslash some new thumbnail material. Daily listener first time caller.
If OP of the first story’s brothers took him to court I would have loved to see the judge say they had no legal right to the money to begin with
They did, as OP admits in the beginning that they were supposed to get 100K each. OP is just pulling legal shenanigans to get away with theft.
Joe and Mac? Like the cavemen from the video games?
Yeah, that OP in the 1st story is the one in the wrong from the start. I know they tried to try to get more money from her, but that shouldn't have been a factor in the first place. Their grandparents trusted OP to do the right thing, and she treated that money as her own piggy bank. I know these stories have some pretty unreliable narrators, still.
“Threatened to kill me, I found this very rude” ....RUDE?! Clearly something is equally wrong with OP that they stayed and didn’t find it anything but rude!
First story: I'm pretty sure a slander and attempted fraud charge can and should be filed against both half-brothers at the very least, since they tried to screw OP out of money they weren't even entitled to _plus_ interest, and then lied to the press. This kind of stunt will likely make me question mainstream media even more than I already am, and I still don't like the orange clown. Second story: Despite doing an actual good deed for the company for once, it doesn't really hold much significance if Tim is a crappy manager who will pit employees against once another and get away with it. Political correctness should never completely trump workplace ethics & morals. That's the very reason why we have Unions assigned to battle the unfair treatment of employers and managers, and the workplace laws that has come of those many battles of the past. In short, Tim should be promptly removed from his position as well. Third story: Entitled people aren't known for their intelligence. Good on OP for using that flaw against this psychologically abusive freeloader excuse of a GF. And we can see where she got her rotten personality from too. I would even go as far as having a restraining order filed against her, because that murder threat was a huge creep alarm, and seeing where she comes from I wouldn't put it beyond her to try it after this revenge.
OP was spending their inheritence that they were already promised. They were rightfully pissed. OP then laughed and stole the rest of it.
Stop reusing thumbnails.
Hey dose is being the cause of someone's death considered a pro revenge
How greedy/stupid do you have to be to get 100k you didn't earn or work for and then try to sue for another 16k?
Op: *literally doesn’t have to give anyone any money but chooses to do so* Step brothers: “HOW DARE YOU”
@Jebsies In the original AITA post she said that the money had to be divided equally...
@A a a a a a a no they weren’t, it’s legally her/his money
As many people have pointed out, it was originaly an AITA post where OP was indeed the AH, but in this "Pro-Revenge" post she manipulated a little of details, like how her brother were ENTITLED to the money, to make her seem like the good guy of the story.
